Versatility of Folding Chairs

Growing up, we always had a bunch of folding chairs tucked away into the hall closet. Whenever guests would come over, we’d pull them out and add extra seats to the dinner table. Whenever we wanted to sit outside, we’d take out those chairs. And even when we wanted to play various games as kids, we’d head to the closet to make use of those chairs in building indoor forts or setting the scene of our game.

I never realized how versatile those chairs were until I moved out of my parents’ house and didn’t bother purchasing folding chairs. Friends would come over for dinner and instead of having guest chairs to offer them, I’d have to make everyone sit on the floor. Parties that were held at my house because I had the biggest yard required people to stand because there were no reception chairs to seat them.

When I decided that it was time to go ahead and purchase my own set of folding chairs, I found that I didn’t know where to look. It turns out that there are a variety of different styles and materials for these chairs and they’re sold by many different types of companies. In the end, I stumbled across a set at a local yard sale and figured they would do. Because of the general versatility of folding chairs, they’ve worked out just fine.
