Ordering Rims for the Shop
By eddie on Jul 25, 2008 in Shopping
One of my jobs as parts manager is to make sure that we carry a large inventory of unique rims for our customers. Since we don’t cater to a specific brand of car, sometimes this can be a daunting task. Needless to say, I do love the opportunities that I have to bring in unique tires and rims into our city, and our customers appreciate the lengths that I go to for them.
Just this week, I placed an order for EXE wheels as our stock has been getting a little low. There is just something about a car that has chrome rims on it that gets our customers excited – it definitely makes their ride look more expensive than it truly is.
There are a large number of street racers in our city so we carry lines of wheels that cater to their needs. In fact, we pride ourselves on the fact that we are the largest supplier of Staggered Wheels in town. Most of the street racers in town stop at our shop first before shopping at the competition because we carry more varieties than any other shop in town.
It was nice that we were also able to pick up a couple of orders for Audi Wheels – sales on the higher end of the spectrum for rims has been at an all time low lately.
Though the week is almost over, I just can’t wait until next week – who knows what we will get in next!
