Broken Arm

I haven’t swung a bat in six months. Frankly, it’s driving me crazy.  You see, I’m a bit of a baseball addict. Unlike a lot of guys, though, I’m not content to just watch other people play baseball on TV. Why let them have all the fun? I’m nothing special when it comes to baseball. I haven’t played seriously since high school, and that was a longer time ago than I’d really care to admit, haha. I’m a bit of a pitching machine junkie. I’ve been known to haunt Tampa Florida batting cages whenever I get stressed out, or just want to relax, or feel like getting a little exercise. This is getting a little off-track, but I’d like to mention that batting is actually a great, total-body exercise. When I call it exercise, people often scoff, thinking that swinging a bat is just moving the arms. Actually, you step and twist into a good swing with your whole body. The core body muscles, such as your abdominal muscles, are the really strong ones that send the baseball flying when they catch a good piece of it. Anyway, when I found a good indoor baseball training facility in Florida, I started showing up fairly often, and I actually started getting pretty good at hitting. I even did some baseball strength training Tampa. Then I broke my arm. Now it’s in a cast. And so I haven’t swung a bat in six months. And, like I said, it’s starting to drive me crazy.

How Airsoft Guns Can Be for Fun and Safety

The stuff they are doing these days with gun substitutes is phenomenal. They have created Airsoft hardware that is so realistic, professionals probably confuse them with the real thing.
 
But since they’re non-lethal, there is no real limit to the amount of fun you can have with them. You can take them out in the yard and try to shoot down cans. You can take some of the Classic army style guns and get some combat practice in without having to purchase a real gun on the circuit. You can even get rid of pests, like birds or rodents that may be tearing up your yard or bothering you in your home.
 
It’s sick how good these guns are. I took one of the Tokyo Marui 10MM pistols in the back the other day and shot flies out of mid-air. Out of mid-air. They fell to the ground, like “Buzzzzzz” pow! Man that was a rush.
 
I’m constantly impressed with this new technology. If they can’t arm teachers in school with real guns, they should give them these sweet babies. Keep them in the desk and I bet no students are going to be talking back any time soon. I’d be willing to spearhead that movement.
